2001 USA TENNIS COLLEGIATE TEAM

Twelve top American men's and women's college tennis players have been chosen for the *2002 USA Tennis Collegiate Team.* Sheila McInerney, head women's coach at Arizona State, will coach the men's team while Pepperdine coach Adam Steinberg will lead the men. The USA Tennis Collegiate Team is a training program that is funded by the USTA in order to provide players with exposure to the professional circuit. Players are chosen for the program based on the following criteria: United States citizen; Dual Match Record; Final ITA Ranking; Performance in ITA National events; and Sportsmanship. The team will participate at select events on the USTA Professional Circuit throughout the Summer and will continue through to the U.S. Open in August.
