July 2004

Three boys have been dominating Grand Slam events this year. The first singles titles have gone to France's Gael Monfils, who is on his way to becoming the first boy since Stefan Edberg (1983) to win the Junior Grand Slam. The other constant faces in the 2004 winners' circle are Scott Oudsema and Brendan Evans of the United States. The duo have won two Grand Slam doubles crowns this year -- the Australian Open and Wimbledon. Scott also has a trophy from last year's Australian Open doubles, that one earned with Phillip Simmonds.
