The Baylor Men's Team, who were surprise NCAA winners last May, has proved their staying power by adding their first ITA National Indoors trophy to the shelf. The Bears took out Virginia (reaching the finals in their first Indoors appearance), 4-1, to extend their winning streak to 32 matches. The streak goes back to last season when they began their domination of men's college tennis with the help of Benedikt Dorsch and Benjamin Becker.
Hamid Mirzadeh of the University of Florida was chosen as the USTA Sportsmanship Award winner.
