Lewis-Clark State coach Kai Fong and Florida Gulf Coast's J. Webb Horton will be honored at the ITA Coaches Convention this month. Coach Fong will receive the USTA/ITA Campus Recreation Award while Coach Webb is the winner of the USTA/ITA Community Service Award.

Dea Sumantri took the top flights in singles and doubles at the Husky Invitational. In the singles final she defeated Washington teammate Dinka Hadzic, 6-0,6-4 and then she paired with Cassy Fabiani to take the doubles over Jamie Marshall/Davina Mendiburu of Oregon, 8-1.

Freshman Whitney Deason took the Thunderbird Invitational crown over fellow Cardinal Lejla Hodzic in the finals, 6-2,2-6,6-3.

UCLA once again dominated the Southern California Intercollegiate Championships. This year it was Luben Pampoulov who won singles over Alabama's Luigi D'Agord, 7-5,6-2 in the finals, while Alberto Francis and Kris Kwinta prevailed in the finals over UC Irvine's Brian Morton and Ryu Kashiwabara.

Georgia sophomore Natalie Frazier captured the SEC Coaches Fall Classic with a 6-2,6-2 win over Alabama's Ashley Bentley in the finals.

In the finals of the Fall Desert Classic, Southern California's Anca Anastasiu fell to Bianca Dulgheru of Pepperdine, 6-4,4-6,7-6(5).
