February 2007

The spring season has been an exciting one for Georgia Tech. The women started the season lending a hand at the 2007 Special Olympic State Winter Games. It was just a few weeks later that they snapped Stanford's three-year winning streak to win their first USTA/ITA National Indoor Championship. The win also put the team on the top of the rankings for the first time.

David North started the season out right for the men's Yellow Jacket team by winning the singles and doubles (with Jose Muguruza) titles at the J. Webb Horton Classic.
