2005 NCAA DIVISION III CHAMPIONSHIPS
It was a record third consecutive NCAA Division III Women's Championship at the 2005 event for Emory and their fourth overall. Amazingly the Eagles did it again playing with three new freshman this year. They were, however, shut out of the individual events as Lindsay Hagerman of Washington & Lee was the singles winner and Gustavus Adolphus' Tara Houlihan & Lyndsey Palen took the doubles. UC-Santa Cruz swept the 2005 NCAA Division III Men's Championship. After taking the team event, Matt Seeburger captured his second consecutive singles title before teaming with Matt Bruner for the doubles. The sophomore has two more years to repeat this incredible feat. | |||
