2004 NAIA CHAMPIONSHIPS
For the first time since the team format began in NAIA national competition the same team won both the men's and the women's championships. That team was Auburn-Montgomery. The Auburn-Montgomery tennis teams were the dominating force in NAIA tennis for the 2003-04 season. Not only did they win the Conference and National titles, but the took the awards for GACC Coach of the Year (Anuk Christiansz) and Player of the Year (Anton Brykalin). Linda Tempelfelde was named the ITA National Rookie of the Year. The allocades helped earn Auburn-Montgomery Athletics their fourth consecutive Commissioner's Cup Award. | ||
