2009 "LITTLE MO NATIONALS"
Austin Tennis Academy
Austin, Texas - October 17-19, 2009

The "Little Mo" Nationals, the only national tournament for players in 8, 9, 10 and 11 & under age groups, is a culmination of the yearlong "Road to the Little Mo Nationals." Each of the semifinalists of the Sectional events moved on to the Regionals, the Regional semifinalists to the Nationals, and now these winners get to take it one step further.

The "Little Mo" tournaments, played in honor of Maureen "Little Mo" Connolly, are designed to provide fun competition for younger players. Former pros Murphy Jensen and Kathy Horvath were on hand for the opening ceremonies before the draws of 16 began.

The top four finishers from the "Little Mo" Nationals will advance to the main draw of the "Little Mo" International Open, to be held December 15-19 at Club Med Sandpiper in Port Saint Lucie, Florida. College And Junior Tennis will have daily stories and photos from this event.
