After Alexa Glatch finished up her month in Europe with the USTA Travel Team, she won the Women's Singles title at the ITA Summer Circuit event in Southern California. Thirteen-year-old Alexa defeated Logan Hansen in the finals after eliminating college players Natalie Braverman of Pepperdine and Tiffany Eklov of Illinois. * * *
GD Jones of New Zealand was a double winner in July as he took home singles trophies from the New Zealand Indoor Championships and the Darwin International Championships. Sharing space on the podium with him in both places was the doubles team of Steven Goh and David Galic, both from Australia. * * *
It was an all-American girls doubles final at the Appletise Winchester Junior Tournament as Lindsay Burdette and Yvette Hyndman defeated Sarah Fansler and Vania King, 6-2,6-1 * * *
Christopher Letcher was a two-time winner at The Smash International Junior Championships after he teamed with Navdeep Singh for the doubles title. Eugenia Grebeniuk was the girls singles winner at that event and Bianca Bonifate/Maria Spenceley won the doubles. * * *
