The USTA honored Easter Bowl founder Seena Hamilton at this year's event, which celebrated its 40th anniversary. Seena continues to bring the best top American juniors together each year at an event that has featured everyone from Lindsay Davenport to James Blake.

Fifteen year old Gail Brodsky captured her fourth consecutive Ojai Valley Tennis Tournament trophy. After winning the 14s, 16s & 18s, Gail this year took the Women's Open with a 3-6,6-2,6-4 victory over Tanya Raykova. The Men's Open title went to former Texas A&M standout Lester Cook.

Kei Nishikori of Japan and Sorana-Mihaela Cirstea of Romania captured the titles at the 6th Annual Luxilon Cup. The event is held at the Sony Erickson Open and, though it does not carry ranking points, the winners receive wildcards into the next year's qualifying event of the professional tournament.

The Cypres Sports Museum, called the largest private collection of sports memorabilia in the world, will open its doors for the first time to benefit Hillsides, a children's charity in Pasadena. At the Gerdau Cup, a new ITF Grade A in Brazil, two players took out the top seeds in their respective draws to take the event by surprise. Vladimir Ignatic of Belarus was the boys singles winner and France's Cindy Chala took the girls.

The Olympic Tennis Centre in Athens, Greece, will host the new International Champions Series tournament this month. Players scheduled include Pete Sampras, Mark Phillippousis, Jim Courier & Todd Martin. Click here for more information on the Champions Series

The New York Junior Tennis League is currently sponsoring FREE after-school programs and will begin summer programs July 5th. For more information, visit NYJTL.org.

Ksenia Lykina took home three trophies in April after winning the Japan Open, Istres & Beaulieu sur Mer Open. Matteo Trevisan was the boys winner at the latter.
