Q: What do you consider to be your best tournament win?
A: "Last year I played Claycourts and I lost to a guy named Shankar Ramaswamy in the main draw, but that I beat him in the finals of the Gold draw. But if I win this one, it will be my best tournament." (Jarmere did win the singles and doubles at the USTA Super National Spring Championships.)
Q: Do you play any other sports?
A: "I just play basketball for fun. I can play all sports except for soccer and hockey."
Q: What do you have against soccer and hockey?
A: "I just can't control the ball -- or the puck -- in those sports."
