Q: Are you going to the Easter Bowl?
A: "No. I'm actually going to be on spring break so we're going to be in Destin."
Q: It's interesting that you have the choice (the tournament win gave him a wildcard) and you're not going.
A: "A little break is nice sometimes. I love tennis, but it's good to get away every once in awhile."
Q: Does anyone else in your family play tennis?
A: "No. Nobody does. My dad was a basketball coach for 20 years. Now he works at Belmont College. He's an Associate Athletic Director. My mom played tennis at Belmont, but not at a high level. She works at a coungtry club in Nashville -- Bellmeade Country Club -- so that's where I grew
up and learned to play."
Q: At what age did you start playing?
A: "I started at four. I started playing tournaments at about ten."
Q: Are you thinking about college?
A: "We're taking a couple of unofficials. Four or five of those. I'm just starting to look around."
Q: Are you focusing on any schools yet?
A: "No, I really haven't made my decision."
Q: Are you looking to leave Tennessee?
A (Davey Sandgren in background): "No!!"
