William & Mary kicked off the season by winning matches against three teams at the 31st Milwaukee Classic. Leading the team was tournament Sportsmanship winner, senior Megan Moulton-Levy, who was undefeated during the competition.

This summer the Note Dame men traveled to Europe for a series of exhibition matches. Check out their recap, including photos and diaries.

Adam Steinberg, who led the Pepperdine men to their first ever NCAA Championship, was honored as the University's 2005-06 Coach of the Year.

Georgia senior John Isner won the Southern Intercollegiate Championship singles title for the second year in a row when he defeated teammate Luis Flores in the finals, 7-6(5),6-3. The two later teamed to win the doubles.

Two players on the 2006-07 Binghampton University team -- Zeynep Altinay have surpassed the 1992 record of Lisa Denerstein with 70 career wins and one of them will set their own record at the end of this season.

The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and Missouri State University have settled a lawsuit filed on behalf of four women tennis players whose team was eliminated for the 2006-07 school year. Maja Stanojevic, Paty Manzur, Eleonora Kuruc and MKonika Musilova have been awarded $1,000 each to continue their education. According to the ACLU, "the lawsuit was sought to emphasize the importance of Title IX, the 1972 law that prohibits sex discrimination in any educational program that receives federal funds."

Alabama's doubles team of Joseph Jung and Saketh Myneni claimed the Baylor HEB Invitiational Championship title with an 8-5 win over Javier Herrera and Diego Mattar of Texas-Arlington.

Texas A&M women's coach Bobby Kleinecke has been inducted into the West Texas A&M University Hall of Champions. Coach Kleinecke played for the Buffaloes from 1974-78.

Coaching Changes... Frank Polito has joined the University of Georgia women as the Assistant Coach... William & Mary has hired Mark Halfpenny ast the Women's Assistant Coach... Former Alabama All-American Robin Stephenson has joined Georgia Tech as the Volunteer Assistant Coach. Also new to the Yellow Jackets is Rollins graduate Andrew Groslimond, the men's Volunteer Assistant Coach... Scott Briggs has left his coaching position at Davidson College to become a Volunteer Assistant for the Wake Forest men's team.
