A: "The Gator Bowl." (C.C. played and won the Gator Bowl a week later.)

Q: Do you have any plans to move up into the 14s?
A: "I'm going to start playing 14s when I turn 13 (October 2004). I'm trying to get my ranking up high in the national 12s. I'm already number one in Florida, so I don't need to worry about that."

Q: Are you playing all the 12s Super Nationals this summer?
A: "Yes"

Q: Does anyone else in your family play tennis?
A: "No."

Q: What does C.C. stand for?
A: "Nothing. It's my name. I have a middle name, but I don't use it. I'm just 'C.C. Sardinha.'"
