TALKING WITH... ADAM EL MIHDAWY
September, 2006 continued

Q: Great Summer.
A: "Yeah, pretty good."

Q: It was a pretty good year overall. You really broke through in the last year. Are you doing anything different?
A: "Not really. I'm just getting used to my height. I grew a lot the last few years. I move my feet better now. I think my movement has improved a lot."

Q: What has been your best win?
A: "The doubles at Kalamazoo was my best. Even though it was a doubles match, it was still a big win. And the match I won here (at the U.S. Open Junior Qualifying) was one of my best wins. He was one of the best players I've ever played."

Q: What tournament did you have the most fun at?
A: "Easter Bowl was fun, but this one -- the U.S. Open -- is probably more fun than any of the others."

Q: Is there a tournament you haven't played yet that you are looking forward to playing?
A: "Other Grand Slams -- Wimbledon, Australian, French -- but my ITF ranking isn't high enough."

Q: Where are you going next?
A: "I'm going to play an ITF in Kentucky and then I'm coming back here (New York). I'm going back to school now so playing will have to be less."
